Mike Andrews | Vice President of Global Sales
As Vice President of Global Sales for Verdiem Corporation, Mike Andrews brings 19 years of business leadership in sales and marketing with both large and startup technology organizations. In this role, he leads worldwide field operations and the development and execution of sales strategies that deliver rapid revenue growth and outstanding customer satisfaction. Mike's leadership responsibility includes overseeing the global enterprise and mid-market sales teams, in addition to the sales engineering, professional services and technical support teams.
Prior to joining Verdiem, Mike served as Vice President of the Corporate Business Unit for GiftCertificates.com. In this role he led the $67 million business-to-business unit selling incentive solutions to corporations. Additionally, Mike has held executive roles at HouseValues, Inc. and Holistix Inc., a WRQ spin-off, as well as leadership positions at WRQ Inc. and IBM - where he spent the first 9 years of his career.
Mike has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics and a Minor in French from the University of Puget Sound. He is also a graduate of the University of Puget Sound's Business Leadership Program and serves on their Board of Visitors for the School of Business. Mike has also studied and lived in France.
Jerry Barber | Chief Technology Officer
As CTO for Verdiem Corporation, Jerry Barber is an expert in web services architecture who builds world-class solutions at the cutting edge of technology. He is responsible for Verdiem's strategic product direction and leads the development organization, providing guidance and direction to product development plans, evolving product offerings, and initiatives to better serve Verdiem's customers and fulfill the product vision.
Jerry began his technology career at the University of Idaho, earning BSEE, BA Math, MSEE. Following graduation, he wrote one of the first Basic interpreters for the Intel 8008 chip while working at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Jerry has also earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed the Stanford Executive Program.
After completing his post-doctoral work at INRIA (France's national institute for research in Computer Sciences) he returned to MIT as a research scientist where he co-founded Gold Hill Computers, which adapted artificial intelligence applications to the then-new IBM PC. He was also a co-founder of the Object Management Group that defined the CORBA specification for interoperable enterprise applications. Jerry later became a founding member of a second standards-setting consortium, the Digital Imaging Group.
Following his work at MIT, Jerry joined Aldus Corporation as director of advanced products and then became CTO. When Aldus merged with Adobe, Jerry became director of technology integration and later became Adobe's senior director of core technologies. He also co-founded PhotoAccess Technologies, which evolved into an Internet-based digital image processing firm which was then acquired by PhotoWorks. There he served as vice president of engineering and IT.
Most recently Jerry worked with DocuSign, developing the company's technology, infrastructure and engineering capabilities to efficiently manage growth - with a particular focus on evolving DocuSign's service oriented architecture and data centers to stay ahead of demand.
Allison Cornia | Vice President of Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing, Allison Cornia brings over 15 years of experience in marketing technology products and services in both large and small company environments. Her daily responsibilities include the oversight of all facets of marketing and corporate communications, with particular emphasis on heightening brand awareness, driving a higher public profile for the company’s products and services, and deepening the company’s focus on the user experience as a competitive differentiator.
Allison came to Verdiem from Digeo, Inc. from where she was responsible for all facets of marketing, from driving market research to creating the go-to-market and brand strategies for Digeo’s Emmy® award winning Moxi HD digital media recorders. Prior to Digeo, Allison was at Real Networks, where she led a consumer marketing team in the music division. Allison also spent several years at Microsoft in senior marketing positions in the Xbox and MSN organizations. For Xbox, she developed the global customer relationship management (CRM) strategy and led a team in managing customer acquisition and retention programs for Xbox Live. For MSN, she had global responsibility for the CRM strategy for all MSN services, including Hotmail, Instant Messenger, MSN Music and Outlook Live. She is a frequent speaker and has authored several papers on CRM and targeted marketing optimization.
Allison is a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts with a degree in Comparative Political Science and attended both MBA and PhD programs with an emphasis in Marketing at Arizona State and Georgia State Universities.
Steve Gordon | Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations
As CFO and Vice President of Operations at Verdiem Corporation, Steve will be responsible for Verdiem's finance, human resources, administration, operations, infrastructure development, and legal affairs. Steve was Chief Financial Officer and VP of Sales for Trumba Corporation, private web services company. He joined Trumba at its product launch and led its sales effort along with raising an $ 8.0 million venture capital financing to build out the go to market plan.
From August of 2002 until joining Trumba in June of 2005, Steve served as the Chief Operating Officer for Casey Family Programs, a private operations foundation focused on the needs of children in foster care, helping create business disciplines in this non-profit foundation that allowed it reach more children with greater impact with an operating budget approximately 1/3 lower than previous years. Prior to Casey, Steve served as Chief Operating Officer of Wavelink Corporation, a privately held wireless software provider. Steve helped drive the restructuring of the company's sales and marketing model as well as bringing costs in line with the short term market opportunities. During his tenure he also helped the company secure $5 million in venture capital financing allowing it to continue to pursue its growth strategy.
From 1997 until August of 2000, Steve was Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer for Visio Corporation, a publicly traded software development firm, where he helped to lead Visio from approximately $60 million to almost $250 million in revenues in less than 3 years. Steve also led the team which negotiated and executed Visio's $1.5 billion merger with Microsoft Corporation.
Kevin Klustner | President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and CEO of Verdiem Corporation, Kevin Klustner is a technology industry veteran bringing over 20 years of experience leading and growing organizations to achieve their strategic objectives. He is responsible for overseeing the company's daily operations including product development, sales, solutions delivery, marketing, and administrative functions along with his executive team.
Prior to joining Verdiem, Kevin was the Managing Director of Coastal Environmental Systems and President and CEO of Sightward, a venture backed software startup in Bellevue. As CEO of Sightward, Kevin raised three rounds of venture financing and built a technical, marketing and sales team that developed and launched enterprise data analysis software. Kevin has also served as the Chief Operating Officer for WRQ, a PC network software company and held various management positions at Hewlett Packard. He has worked and lived extensively in Europe and Asia throughout his career.
He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from Stanford University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
