SEPT Lowers Greenhouse Gas Emissions through Reduction of Energy used by PCs on its Network

• With some 5,000 staff, South Essex Partnership University Foundation NHS Trust (SEPT) is one of the UK’s largest NHS providers of health and social care services for people with mental health problems and people with learning disabilities.
• Implementing Verdiem’s SURVEYOR software to manage PC energy usage has already resulted in immediate energy savings of 22.7 percent.
• SURVEYOR secures target annual energy savings per PC of 55.5 kWh – equivalent to an annual energy saving of 99,900 kWh across SEPT’s estate of some 1,800 PCs.
• Targeting greenhouse gas emission reductions of 136,080 lbs across the estate – based on an average of 75.6 lbs per PC.
