Seattle, WA - August 8, 2006 - Verdiem, the leading developer of power management software for PC networks, today announced changes to the company's management to support an aggressive growth plan and increased market interest in the company's flagship product, SURVEYOR. As part of the company's expansion, Mike Andrews has been named vice president of sales, Jennifer Rodriguez has been appointed director of marketing communications and Dave Harvey is transitioning from vice president of sales to vice president of business development.
"Verdiem is experiencing a surge in market demand, and we are excited to add accomplished industry professionals to help translate these opportunities into revenue and market share growth," said Kevin Klustner president and CEO of Verdiem. "Mike's experience in selling to large corporate customers and his expertise in scaling a sales force during times of dynamic growth will be key assets to extend Verdiem's leadership in the reduction of energy waste in PCs."

Dave has been with Verdiem for three years and previously held management positions with Nimble Technology and Informix Software. In addition, the company has hired Jennifer Rodriguez as director of marketing communications to lead the expansion of Verdiem's marketing initiatives.
"While we continue to see strong demand from enterprise and public sector organizations, Verdiem's power management solution is also very attractive to a host of other product and services companies who want to distinguish their products as environmentally beneficial," said Klustner. "Dave's focus on developing these channels is a key part of our strategic plan for growth. With Dave, Jennifer and Mike in their new roles, we are well-positioned to capitalize on the significant opportunity in front of us."
