VERDIEM APPOINTS DENISE MASTERS AS NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Technology Industry Veteran To Target Resources for Corporate Expansion
Seattle - Feb. 5, 2007 - Verdiem, the leading developer of power management software for PC networks, today announced the addition of Denise Masters as Chief Financial Officer. Masters brings to Verdiem more than 13 years of finance experience with a focus on the high tech industry. At Verdiem, she will be responsible for finance, legal and human resources as the company aggressively expands its national and international presence. Prior to joining Verdiem, Masters was the director of finance for Bocada. Before Bocada, she was a senior manager within the audit practice at Deloitte & Touche.

With more than 300,000 PCs currently using SURVEYOR, Verdiem and its customers are helping to reduce global warming, CO2 emissions by eliminating IT energy waste. In 2007 alone, Verdiem's installed base of over 100 customers will use SURVEYOR to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at a rate equal to taking more than 8,000 passenger cars off the road for an entire year, or conserving 4,317,988 gallons of gasoline.
